Day 91 12th Saturday Weigh-in

Last week's weight: 251
This week's weight: 248

Total to Date: 40 lbs.

Thats right 40 lbs in 12 weeks. Not to shabby if I do say so myself. I am averaging 3.33 lbs a week. NIce! Later today I will be heading to the Marathon Sports store in Norwell to register for the Hingham Turkey Trot. Tomorrow I will be doing a 2.25 mile run which will conclude week 2 of running a 5k. Here is the week ahead for week 3.

Week 3

  • Monday- Rest
  • Tuesday - Run 2.25 miles easy.
  • Wednesday - Run 2 miles easy.
  • Thursday - Rest or cross train.
  • Friday - Run 2 miles easy.
  • Saturday - Run 2.5 miles easy. You make a .25 mile increase today.
  • Sunday - Run 3 miles easy. You make another increase in mileage here. You are running almost a full 5K distance here. A 5K is 3.1 miles. Keep your pace nice and easy. You can work on speed in future races.
As you see next Sunday I will be just under the 5K mark. I feel at the moment I can probably already do this but I am following the program to the letter so I do not injure myself.

If you want to join me at the Trot on Thanksgiving head over to www.hinghamturkeytrot.com to register. Well gotta run to football and may post some pics later.
