last posted to the blog with the  &lt;br&gt;weigh-in stats and what I have been doing. Well here are the stats for  &lt;br&gt;the last 5 weeks and then I will go into what is up.&lt;br&gt;Last weigh in : 248&lt;p&gt;13th Sat. Weigh in: 247&lt;br&gt;14th Sat. Weigh in: 244&lt;br&gt;15th Sat. Weigh in: 241&lt;br&gt;16th Sat. Weigh in: 240&lt;br&gt;17th Sat. Weigh in: 238&lt;p&gt;Total to date: down 50 lbs.&lt;p&gt;So I am down 50 lbs. on the eve of the Turkey Trot. Yeah! Pretty good.  &lt;br&gt;I still have not had a drop of soda or a carbonated beverage since I  &lt;br&gt;started this blog. To be honest, I do not even miss it. My favorite  &lt;br&gt;drink of choice now is ice water with lemon.&lt;p&gt;Now the last 5 weeks have been pretty chaotic. I took individual  &lt;br&gt;portraits of the football league which can be seen at the following  &lt;br&gt;address; &lt;a href="http://sidelineportraits.smugmug.com/HYF"&gt;http://sidelineportraits.smugmug.com/HYF&lt;/a&gt;&lt;p&gt;I also have been taking action shots of my son&amp;#39;s team which went to  &lt;br&gt;the OCYFL superbowl and their season long hardwork paid off with them  &lt;br&gt;winning and are the 2009 Champions for the PeeWee division. So the  &lt;br&gt;football season used a lot of my spare time up.&lt;p&gt;Also 2 weeks ago I lost my job and I have been adjusting to being home  &lt;br&gt;and searching for a new job somewhere else.&lt;p&gt;It is a weird feeling not being tethered anymore to the blackberry and  &lt;br&gt;always being on the grid.&lt;p&gt;But in the meantime I have been continuing to focus on completing my  &lt;br&gt;first goal of running the Turkey Trot tomorrow. I can say with great  &lt;br&gt;confidence that I will be able to complete this first goal without a  &lt;br&gt;problem.&lt;p&gt;Since completing the 8 weeks of running and then moving onto the 5k  &lt;br&gt;training. I have completed that program and have moved onto completing  &lt;br&gt;a 10k. Currently I am running 4.5 mile on my longest day and will be  &lt;br&gt;moving onto 5 miles within the next week.&lt;p&gt;So I have set a second goal of completing a 10k but who knows I may   &lt;br&gt;strive to run a half marathon in the spring but I need to run the trot  &lt;br&gt;first.&lt;p&gt;I also have been thinking of making &lt;a href="http://www.sidelineportraits.com"&gt;www.sidelineportraits.com&lt;/a&gt; into  &lt;br&gt;something more. It has been a crazy 3 weeks! First off let&amp;#39;s share some stats  &lt;br&gt;and then let me share what I have been up to.&lt;p&gt;The past 3 weigh-in&amp;#39;s are as such&lt;br&gt;9th Saturday weigh in&lt;br&gt;previous week 259&lt;br&gt;this week 256&lt;p&gt;10th Saturday weigh in&lt;br&gt;previous week 256&lt;br&gt;this week 254&lt;p&gt;11th Saturday weigh in&lt;br&gt;previous week 254&lt;br&gt;this week 251&lt;p&gt;So what have I accomplished. Well I finished the 8 week beginning  &lt;br&gt;running program, to get me running for 30 minutes. The last week of  &lt;br&gt;the program was fairly easy the last week which was a good thing.&lt;p&gt;The past 2 weeks I have been full tilt into prepping for the Turkey  &lt;br&gt;Trot. I now running 2.25 miles for distance and next weekend I will be  &lt;br&gt;up to 3 miles.&lt;p&gt;In regards to the Trot, registration is now open. I will be  &lt;br&gt;registering this weekend and anyone else can sign up at &lt;a href="http://www.hinghamturkeytrot.com"&gt;www.hinghamturkeytrot.com&lt;/a&gt; &lt;br&gt;  I invite anyone to come run this with me on Thanksgiving morning, it  &lt;br&gt;will be a good time.&lt;p&gt;Also the last few weeks has been football, football and football. But it was nothing but football all this weekend. So when I got home last night, after being at a morning game in Bridgewater and then a night game in Duxbury with a 2 hour break in between, all I could do was crash when I got home. So in a way it still is all good since I had a really crazy week between work, being sick, inconsistent eating and missing a run/walk day. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "&gt;&lt;span style="font: 16.0px Georgia"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:small;"&gt;This week coming up the run/walk gets tougher but as always I am up to the challenge. Overall I am feeling pretty good up the running. After this morning I am up to the 20 minute run point. Tuesday it jumps to 25 minutes running. Yikes! But so far so good. Sick at the beginning, missed a workout, busy at work and missed a couple of posts because of it. Today was no different from the rest of the week. I got run/walk out of the way early today and did my weigh myself (will post shortly) , my son has his football weigh in, did some errands and when that was done it was 5 in the afternoon. Geez! Time is flying. Saw District 9 with some friends and it was just okay. Would have been better just on television. After the movie we headed over to Pizzeria Uno's to have drinks. I do not recommend taking pictures while driving but I needed a snapshot for the day.  Monday night I was up all night sick again and Tuesday just rested for the day to get better. So I missed Tuesday run/walk combo but was able to do Wednesdays run/walk because I finally felt better. But I will say I was still not feeling 100% but I did anyway because I needed to. Crazy week so far eating has been inconsistent because of work and the past few days. But I have not been overeating which is good and I have not been eating junk. Don't know if that was a good idea but soldiered on. Anyway went to my cousin's new house for a family cookout. I brought my camera to snap some portraits I needed for a personal project I have been working on now for over a year. Still got a way to go with it. Anyway the picture above is of my father (father is on the right) and his brother. This is only picture I know of them together so it has a lot of meaning personally to me.
